About the Program
The Distinguished Speakers Program is one of ACM’s most valued outreach programs, providing our chapters and members access to computing professionals from a variety of backgrounds. The program offers:
  • Live talks by DSP speakers at student or professional chapter gatherings
  • Guest speakers at conferences or other venues
  • Archived streaming video files of DSP presentations
ACM chapters are encouraged to invite speakers to their events by using our online request process. Chapter officers communicate directly with our speakers using a dynamic request form. Unless otherwise noted, our speakers will respond to requests directly, with ACM headquarters tracking and ultimately approving the request(s). Travel expenses for speakers are paid by ACM.
